Welcome to el mundo!

el mundo is an educational program offered by Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich. Students deepen their knowledge of sustainability topics from a natural science and humanities perspective and learn how elements and content of sustainability can be anchored in subject-specific as well as interdisciplinary educational contexts and lived as a component of daily educational activities. el mundo thus responds to diverse requests from science, politics and society, which consider anchoring education for sustainable development as a cross-sectional task.
